The UCEAP Videography Scholarship in memory of Albert G. Minassians

The UCEAP Videography Scholarship in memory of Albert G. Minassians will support creative students with a passion for photography and videography. The $2,000 prize will be awarded annually to a student participating in the University of California Education Abroad Program.Students who receive the scholarship will submit a final project highlighting their UCEAP study abroad experience in a well-produced 3- to 5-minute video as well as 10 photographs across varying subjects taken while abroad.

Fall 2023 applications for this award will open January 15th, 2023 and close March 15th, 2023.

      This award honors the life of a man who deeply valued family and community. In your statement of purpose and your video, please explain how you intend to give back to and contribute to the global community you encounter on your UCEAP program. What insights/experiences do you hope to gain during your time abroad? What are your goals for your program?
    • Please upload a link to a two-minute video displaying your skills in content creation with a focus on the themes of contributing and giving back to community.
      This video can focus on your community at your UC campus, the community you intend to build abroad, what you are most excited about accomplishing on your program, or what your goals are during UCEAP.
