Olivia Chan Shipp Scholarship

The Olivia Chan Shipp Scholarship was established in memory of Olivia Chan Shipp, a UCLA student who participated in UCEAP’s Fall 2018 program in Rome, Italy. A communications major, Olivia’s goal was to strengthen global connections through people-to-people engagement and cooperation.

Four scholarship awards in the amount of $2,500 each will be made yearly to undergraduate students on UCEAP programs in Italy with a major in communication-based fields. Applicants must have demonstrated academic excellence, a passion for studying abroad, and a willingness to embrace and learn Italian language and culture.
