The Gallen Family/RWC Scholarship

The Gallen Family Scholarship is an annual $2,400 fall award given to students studying abroad in Italy. Priority will be given to students focusing on language acquisition.

Justin Gallen, an alumnus of UC Santa Cruz, studied abroad at the University of Padova in 1988-89. Justin turned his passion for Italian wine into a successful import business, Rinascimento Wine Co. After more than thirty years in the wine industry, he is happy to give back to UC students with this scholarship.

This award will be selected internally, interested applicants should apply to the Global Scholarship.
