UCEAP Guardian Scholarship

UCEAP Guardian Scholarship Winter/Spring 2027 – $2,500 (Any UCEAP Program)
For students who are current or former foster youth and studying abroad on any UCEAP program during the winter/spring quarters or spring semester.

If you are a former or current foster youth, the UCEAP Guardian Scholars program can support your dream of going on a UCEAP study abroad program. Scholarships of $2,500 will be offered yearly to student(s) participating in a winter/spring quarter or spring semester UCEAP program.

Award: $2,500

You can pair the UCEAP Guardian Scholarship with a Yearlong Scholarship, a Social Media Scholarship, and any outside or campus awards. The only restriction is that it cannot be combined with other UCEAP systemwide scholarships.

Eligibility
To be considered for a scholarship, you must:
-Meet the core eligibility requirements.
-Plan to study in a UCEAP program and ultimately be selected.
-Be a current or former participant in the foster care system.

-Complete the UCEAP Scholarship Form.
-Submit a Global Scholarship Application.
-Tailor your statement of purpose responses to describe how your experiences in foster care influenced your decision to study abroad.
