UCEAP Social Media Scholarship

UCEAP Social Media Scholarship Winter/Spring 2027 – $1,000 (Any UCEAP Program)
For students who have experience creating content for social media platforms and are studying abroad on any UCEAP program during the winter/spring quarters or spring semester.

The UCEAP Social Media Scholarship offers $1,000 scholarships for students participating in a winter/spring quarter or spring semester UCEAP program who will support UCEAP’s communication and marketing goals by serving as a short-form video blogger for UCEAP during their study abroad program. Four scholarships of $1,000 each will be offered yearly to students participating in a winter/spring quarter or spring semester UCEAP program. Scholarship awardees will be expected to provide 10 short videos on a specific timeline throughout the term of their program. Each video should be at least 1 minute long, up to 5 minutes. The videos will be expected on a specific timeline: one video before departure, one during the first week, one every two weeks during the program, and one after returning to California.

Award: $1,000

The UCEAP Social Media Scholarship can be combined with all UCEAP Scholarships.

Eligibility
To be considered for a Social Media Scholarship, you must:
-Meet the core eligibility requirements.
-Plan to study abroad in any UCEAP program and ultimately be selected.
